Nick got to email today before they get more snow about 20 inch are coming on top of the already 30 inch. His been doing lots of shoveling and service. he said he had no power for 2 day.

Elder Blount Update

We have got Nick release date March 31st. Jerry and I are flying out to DC to pick him up. He wanted to stay the weekend and watch General Conference. So we will fly home with him on Monday April 5. We arrive to on Southwest @ 4:55pm. We so excited!!!!

So it is really nice here tiffy but i did not get the chance to go see the blossoms.So guess what? You will never guess where i just got moved to. Im in DC again in the area that i was in before. IT is so crazy i didnt think that i would get another chance to be here in the city. But i DO! Sweet the mission is great the work is going so good. It is so very green here.So this last week was great to see how all of the recent converts that i have had the chance to work with. How much they are progressing in the gosple and how much happier they are to have to gosple in there lifes.Well it was hard to leave the word but i know it is what i had to do. I know that there is a resone that im here in the city again. So im putting my trust in the lord and seeing why i am here. CON MUCHO AMOR, ELDER BLOUNT

February update

On 2/22/09 Kendal almost 8 months and Byron almost 6 months. A little blurry Kendal wants to be on the move not just sitting there like Byron. We love them so much.

Jerry and I went to Vegas for a getaway and some business. We had a great time celebrating our 29th Anniversary.

Nick got transfer right before Christmas. His companins is Elder Andersen. All mail still goes to the same addres. This link will tell you all kinds of fun facts about Gaithersburg,MD. Here is Elder Nick Blount latest picture. He was transfered and now in Washington DC and loves his new area. He said the member feed him very well is this area. Thank goodness he is on his bike now and DC has a lot of hills. It is also starting to relly get cold zero below. Wow!!We are so proud of nick and the work he is doing for the lord.

Boys will be boys!!!! Randy and Jerry on the dirt piles. Randy got stuck so Jerry had to pull him out. They had so much fun.

We love are two grand kids. Look how cute Byron is sleeping and it looks like Kendal is trying to hold on to him.

Jerry and I had the chance to be in the room with Tiffany when she gave birth to our first grandson.

Elder Blount Update

Nick is loving the mission field. He is serving in a town called Laurel just outside of DC. They get the chance to go to DC on preperation day to see all the history sights and play football on the mall. On the 4th of July Nick and a group of the Missinaries got to watch the prades and fireworks in DC. Today he emailed from the Libary of Congress. On Sunday they had there first Baptism in the area in over a year. He was very excited about it and is sending pictures this week. His spanish is coming along somedays are harder then others.

New Addition to the Family

We welcomed Kendal Sue Blount to the family July 5th. She was 6lbs 2oz & 19.5 in long. She has brought us great joy. Here are a few picture Randy and Brittney had taken.

Jerry has finshed his Chemo and Dr say everything is looking good. In 3 month he should be back to felling good. Were thankful for everyones prays during these last several months.
